SAVANNAH HALE

Savannah, 22, is a computer science major at Louisiana State University who has been missing since May 3, 2022. On the night she disappeared, she and her boyfriend spent the evening at a Shreveport bar, Fatty Arbuckle’s, before heading back to the boyfriend’s grandparents’ house for the night. In the early hours of the morning, Savannah began making multiple trips back and forth from the home to Shreveport’s city center, for reasons unknown. At 6:06 AM, she stopped at a Chevron on North Market Street. At 6:08 AM, she called her older sister Kirsten and left a message, suggesting that Kirsten call her back whenever she felt up to it. She sounded normal and cheerful. Then she drove out of the Louisiana Tower Parking Garage and was never seen or heard from again. At 8:03 AM, Kirsten got her message and tried to call, but Savannah’s phone was off. Kirsten checked her apartment, then spoke to the boyfriend, who was clueless as to Savannah’s whereabouts. She reported her sister missing on the afternoon of May 4, 2022. Volunteers have searched the nearby river and bayou in person and by sonar for Savannah and her car but have found nothing so far. It is now considered a cold case. The original investigator on the case doesn’t suspect foul play and believes there’s a good chance that Savannah is still alive, barring an accident, but detectives desperately need new leads from the community to locate her.
