In a case eerily reminiscent of Gabby Petito, Chelsea, 32, an avid photographer and clinical psychologist, was reported missing by her parents on October 4th, 2023 after she disappeared while traveling cross country. She decided to go on a road trip from San Diego to Connecticut to attend a wedding and visit her parents and needed to drive rather than fly, because she wanted to bring her new pet, a bearded dragon named Roz that she adored. On September 28, she drove into Phoenix, Arizona and hung out with a friend (and possibly her sister, according to one source). She then changed her mind about the whole trip and called her parents to say she felt overwhelmed by the long cross country drive. She told them she would be heading back to San Diego after camping for a few days. After the phone call, a witness took note of her at a hotel in Seligman, AZ, seeming discombobulated as she attempted to pay for her hotel stay in Euros. On September 28th, a police officer interacted with her at a graveyard in Williams, Arizona, their conversation captured on body cam footage. He finds her sobbing, and she explains that she is doing a photography project on lost soldiers, and it made her emotional. He suggests that she can safely sleep at a local truck stop that night. Two days later, on September 30th, she is last seen camping in her car in Ash Fork, Arizona by a woodcutter. She is never seen or heard from again. After her family reports her missing on October 4th, her car is found on Forest Road 6 in the Kaibab National Forest with two shredded tires. There’s no sign of Chelsea or her bearded dragon. Her cellphone, wallet, clothing, and sleeping bag are all gone, but her beloved camera, which her mother describes as functioning as “an extension of who she was” was left behind with its last photo taken on September 30th. There are no footprints near the car, and extensive searches with k9s have turned up no leads. Only limited cell phone records have been obtained from AT&T. A private investigator hired by the family and San Diego police suspect foul play, while the Coconino County Sheriff’s office does not believe foul play was involved. I have seen no interviews so far with the woodcutter, the officer who spoke to Chelsea, the witness who saw her at the hotel, or the friend who met up with her. The case is very popular with online sleuths.

On the morning of June 26, 2021, 27-year-old Rajah Adriana McQueen vanished under mysterious circumstances in Cleveland, Ohio. Surveillance footage from a gas station captured Rajah at approximately 7:30 a.m., seated in the passenger seat of her silver 2018 Nissan Sentra. A man, whose identity has been investigated but not publicly disclosed, was driving her vehicle at the time. This was her last confirmed sighting. Roughly four hours later, Rajah’s car was seen again at the same gas station, but it had undergone noticeable changes – the license plates were missing, the hubcaps had been removed, and bullet holes were visible on the exterior. This time, the man was alone in the car, and Rajah was nowhere to be seen. The individual was later identified and questioned by police, but authorities have not publicly linked him to her disappearance.

His car was found abandoned near Interstate 5 and Templin Highway in Castaic, California, with a flat tire; his wallet and cell phone were inside, but Dane was nowhere to be found. In the months following his disappearance, there have been reported sightings of Dane in various California locations, including Mojave and Bakersfield. Witnesses described interactions with a man matching his description who appeared to be traveling on foot and accepted food.Recent developments include the release of a video showing Dane discussing concerns about CIA recruitment, which his family believes indicates paranoia before his disappearance. Additionally, a Facebook group titled “Searching for Dane Elkins” has been established to coordinate search efforts and share updates.

James, 13, has been missing since June 13, 2023 when he left the family home in Reedsburg, Wisconsin at around 1 AM with two duffle bags, commandeering the family van and driving off into the night. He stole his father Bill Yoblonski’s cell phone and took it with him, and his departure was captured by the family’s surveillance video. The family van was found on the side of Highway 12 by Devil’s Lake State Park, and James’s belongings and Bill’s cell phone were discovered at a nearby campsite in the woods. Despite extensive searches of over five thousand acres of land with 100 officers and 10 k9s, there has been no sign of James. Investigators traced James’s movements and learned James stopped at his father’s business in Wisconsin Dells twice before abandoning the car. Police are uncertain what he was doing at his father’s workplace but believe he may have taken his father’s handgun. James did not originally qualify for an Amber Alert, and police aren’t convinced of foul play, but James’s father Bill believes James was abducted and has placed him on the NCMEC list.

For more than a year, police in St. Louis and federal agents have scoured the internet and the state of Missouri searching for clues, but four adults and two young children seemed to have vanished without a trace, including 27-year-old Ma’Kayla Wickerson and her 3-year-old daughter Malaiyah. In the spring of 2023, Ma’Kayla Wickerson suddenly quit her corporate job, stopped paying rent, maxed out her credit cards, and began ignoring her mother Cartisha’s calls. When Cartisha showed up in person to her daughter’s house, she discovered several strangers were living there too, including a man with a gun who said his name was “I am that I am” and told her to leave. She was unable to talk to her daughter or see her granddaughter. Soon after, police found the house vacant, the ID’s of all 4 adults left behind. Investigators soon learn that Ma’Kayla and the 3 other adults living with her belong to an online cult called the University of Cosmic Intelligence and were often seen by neighbors meditating naked in the yard of their Berkeley rental home. The last post on their Facebook pages reads,”The end is near, the end is coming. Prepare for the rapture, prepare for the ascension.” In August of 2023, the group was spotted on an in-store surveillance camera in Florissant, MO, and at a hotel in the same town. Since then, there have been no signs of them anywhere. Police fear the 2 small children especially, could be in danger. .

Ella Saylor, now sixteen years old, went missing from her home in Muncie, Indiana on February 3rd 2024. Ella’s family says everything seemed normal when Ella went to bed around 11pm. But the next morning, she was gone. Ella has a history of running away, but this time is different – she’s made no contact with her family for over a year, and they fear for her life. Ella is five feet four inches tall and about 230 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She may have traveled to the Indianapolis or Chicago area.
